How to describe the H.O.N Series without writing a blog that is over 5,000 words... haha.
In a short sentence, the series is absolutely INCREDIBLE! There is
so much going on all the time that you are never bored. If they aren't
talking about love and romance with the main character Zoey or any of
the other characters.. they are talking about the Wiccan Religion or
Cherokee Legends, or dark forces, or unmanly creatures of the night, or
Nyx the all mighty goddess. The list goes on and on.
Having read all the books currently out, I have grown to love each
and every one of the characters. Zoey for her determination and wanting
to prove herself that she is the youngest high priestess the world has
come across. Stevie Rae for her cute honky tonk attitude and accent, and
always saying "Bat shit crazy". Aphrodite for her total bitch mindset,
reminds me of my sister, which she would totally agree
with me haha. Stark for his side smile and his over confident ego,
which adds to his charm and him knowing how to use a bow and arrow and
having a dead on aim (which sometimes isn't good) is a good skill to
uphold . Raphiem for him wanting to break away from his "father" and
choose light over dark.
If you are looking for a book that is always introducing new
characters, new adventures yet still battling the same dark forces. If
you are a fan of the five elements.. earth, air, fire, water, spirit. If
you enjoy the young romance with many twist thrown in just to keep you
on the edge of your seat and eager to keep turning the page. Then this
series is truly yours.
